Prosthetic heart valve "Medeng" is a new advanced model of carbon valve that provides:

• Low pressure gradient across the prosthesis, absence of any clinically significant regurgitation and rapid restoration of patient´s hemodynamics in postoperative period.
  
• Convenience of implantation provided by soft elastic sewing cuff, bendable handle of the valve holder, a set of sizers and test-probes for testing valve function intraoperatively.
  
• No need for compulsory orientation of the valve after suturing prosthesis into fibrous ring due to its low profile and unique feature of "Medeng" valve, i.e. continuous rotation of valve leaflets around the central axis of valve housing that facilitates creation of blood flow that evenly washes both valve elements and surrounding heart tissues.
  
• Noiseless operation of the prosthesis in patient´s heart.

Taking into account various surgical techniques for heart surgery and some specifics of utilized materials, as an option for customers, different modifications of the valve are available which are designated with 4 digit code.

1- polyester sewing cuff
2- thromboresistant carbon sewing cuff from "Vitlan" thread
3- polyester sewign cuff with antithrombogenic and bacterial coating.
